Optima Systems Consultancy is proud to announce its appointment as a Framework Provider within the refreshed Provider Network of the Engineering Delivery Partner (EDP) framework. This is the highest tier of engagement within the Provider Network, awarded only to a select group of approximately twenty organisations.
Framework Provider status is reserved for those demonstrating the strongest delivery track record across the capability portfolio, with selection based on proven historical performance. Optima’s appointment reflects the quality and consistency of the Systems Engineering support we have provided to the MOD and DE&S across previous phases of EDP, and invites us into a more strategic and collaborative role, working in closer partnership with Aurora to strengthen the coherence of engineering support delivered across the framework.
Optima has also been selected across 33 capability areas within the framework, a breadth of coverage that speaks directly to the depth and versatility of our expertise across the Defence enterprise.
The EDP is a long-term collaborative programme providing the MOD with a single, efficient route to market for engineering services. Delivered through the Aurora Engineering Partnership, comprising QinetiQ, AtkinsRéalis, BMT, and Frazer-Nash Consultancy/KBR, the framework draws together a wide network of specialist suppliers to deliver the skills, expertise, and capacity needed to help the Armed Forces specify, acquire, and sustain critical equipment. The programme is designed to achieve agile, assured, and cost-effective engineering outcomes across a diverse range of Defence projects, underpinning both operational readiness and long-term capability development.
