James has extensive experience working in the defence sector, particularly in submarine-based systems with a specialism in verification and validation of systems and equipment through analysis and physical test. James’ expertise includes development and management of system requirements, system performance evaluation and its application to verification and validation, and qualification and acceptance of non-functional environmental requirements such as naval shock and externally generated vibration. As a Systems Engineering Consultant he will be responsible for the provision of independent and impartial systems engineering and project management to the Ministry of Defence, defence primes and other government departments.
